January 2018 Island Quilters Guild Show and Tell

We had a great meeting this  month.  We didn't have too many Show and Tell items (Dena had to deliver all the lovely items she had made to her new granddaughter! ), but we then had a mystery quilter who presented wonderful quilts.  Hope you scroll through all our photos!
Freda taught the 'shaded' border of the month, because Barb was unable to attend.  It's a Seminole pieced border and it is really effective!

December 2017 December Dinner, Coupon Capers and Show and Tell

We had a terrific evening at our December meeting.  This was held at the Missionary Church Hall in Mindemoya and a group of wonderful volunteers put on a delicious festive meal for us.
Church volunteers who made our festive meal.  Thank you so much!

Before dinner was served, we were served appetizers and punch while we used our coupons to choose the gift items we wanted.

A dessert table at the end of the meal - enjoyed by Melissa, Pat and many others!

After dinner we enjoyed the items that our members brought to share with us.

Then we laughed and 'oohed and ahhed' when the gifts were given out by 'Vanna' and her helpers!

Pam wonders what she did to get so many gifts!
